Gisele Bundchen: Prayers for Tom Brady for Super Bowl

This power couple definitely has it all, great looks, great body, super-stellar fame and overflowing money. But , apparently there is one thing supermodel Gisele Bundchen and husband, New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady thinks they do not have – a direct line to heaven.
Thus, the Brazilian catwalk queen felt the urgent need to write what most people thought was a sappy email to friends and family to implore them to pray for her hubby and send positive vibes to his team, the New England Patriots, as Super Bowl XLVI kicks off on Sunday.
Portions of Gisele’s email read,
“My sweet friends and family, This sunday will be a really important day in my husband’s life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this super bowl . . .
“So I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Envision him happy and fulfilled experiencing with his team a victory this sunday.
“Thank you for your love and support. Love, G
”
When asked via email to comment on the matter, Bundchen said, “I am surprised that you received this e-mail; it was a private note only sent to close friends and family.”
Whoever leaked Gisele’s email might have had the best intentions of portraying Gisele as a loving and prayerful wife, but quite a number of readers saw it differently. To many, the ‘sappy’ email portrays Gisele as not having full faith and confidence in Tom Brady’s capability to lead his team to victory in this year’s Super Bowl – very much unlike Brady himself who boasted earlier in the week that, “We’re going down there, and were going down there for one reason . . . hopefully we’ll have a lot more people at our party next weekend.”
Or maybe, Gisele really just believes in the power of prayer. Let’s give her that people, instead of thinking the worst about her.
